SOVA's role

SOVA Systems LLC ("SOVA") provides the software the property uses to manage its lost-and-found program. SOVA is not the property, is not owned by or affiliated with the property, and is not the property's agent. SOVA acts as a service provider to the property and processes the information you submit on the property's behalf.

Sharing your information

The information you submit is shared with the property you selected so it can review your inquiry. SOVA does not sell your information and does not share it with unrelated third parties for their own purposes. SOVA may share information with service providers that help operate the platform, and may disclose information when required by law.

If your item is found

If your item is found and you choose to have it shipped to you, the shipment is handled separately and is subject to the Shipping Terms & Authorization, which you will be asked to review before completing payment for the shipment.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of the information you submitted by contacting privacy@sovasystems.com. The property may need to retain certain records for legal or operational reasons.

• Create a lost-item record the property's lost-and-found team can review;
• Help match your inquiry to items the property may have found;
• Allow the property to contact you about your inquiry; and
• If your item is found, support the optional return-to-guest workflow, including shipment if you elect to have your item shipped.

SOVA's role

SOVA acts as a service provider to the property and processes the information on the property's instructions. The property is the controller of your information for purposes of applicable privacy laws. SOVA does not sell your information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

SOVA uses reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect the information submitted through this form, including encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to authorized personnel with a need to access the data.

Retention

Records are retained according to the property's retention policy and applicable law. After your inquiry is resolved, you may request deletion of the information you submitted, subject to legal or operational retention requirements that may apply.

If your item is shipped to you

If you choose to have your item shipped, additional information (such as a delivery address and payment details) will be collected through the shipment workflow. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is not stored by SOVA. The shipment is governed by the Shipping Terms & Authorization, which you will be asked to review before completing payment.

Your rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the rights to access, correct, or delete it.
